Arboras ( Occitan : Arboraç ) is a town in the south of France and a municipality with 121 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Gignac . The inhabitants are called Arborassiens .

Arboras is located about 46 kilometers north-northeast of Béziers and about 33 kilometers west-northwest of Montpellier . Arboras is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Privat in the north and northwest, Montpeyroux in the south and east and Saint-Saturnin-de-Lucian in the south and west.
