Les Rives ( Occitan : Las Ribas ) is a French commune with 144 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Lodève (until 2015 Le Caylar ). The inhabitants are called Rivois .

geography

Les Rives is about 53 kilometers west-northwest of Montpellier . The municipality borders on Cornus in the north and west, La Couvertoirade in the northeast, Le Caylar in the east, Saint-Félix-de-l'Héras in the east and southeast, Lauroux in the south and Romiguières in the southwest.
