Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles ( Occitan : Sant Joan de Cuculas ) is a French commune with 483 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). It has been part of the Lodève arrondissement (previously Montpellier ) and the Saint-Gély-du-Fesc canton since 2017 (until 2015: Les Matelles canton ). The inhabitants are called Cucullois .

Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Valflaunès in the north and north-east, Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers in the east and north-east, Le Triadou in the south and south-east, Les Matelles in the west and south-west and Cazevieille in the west and north-west.
