Lagamas ( Occitan : Lagamars ) is a town in the south of France and a municipality with 111 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Gignac . The inhabitants are called Lagamasiens .

location

Lagamas is located about 44 kilometers north-northeast of Béziers and about 29 kilometers west-northwest of Montpellier . Lagamas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montpeyroux in the north and north-west, Saint-Jean-de-Fos in the east and north-east, Gignac in the south and south-east and Saint-André-de-Sangonis in the south and west.
