Villeneuvette ( Occitan La Fatura ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 71 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Clermont-l'Hérault . The inhabitants are called Villeneuvettois .

Villeneuvette is about 40 kilometers west of Montpellier . Villeneuvette is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Clermont-l'Hérault in the north, Nébian in the east and southeast, Lieuran-Cabrières in the south, Cabrières in the southwest and Mourèze in the west.
