Campagnan ( Occitan : Campanhan ) is a town in the south of France and a municipality with 674 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Gignac . The inhabitants are called Campagnanais .
location
Campagnan is located about 31 kilometers northeast of Béziers and about 31 kilometers west-southwest of Montpellier . The Hérault limits the municipality to the west. Campagnan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bélarga in the north, Saint-Pargoire in the south and east and Paulhan in the west.
