Saint-Bauzille-de-la-Sylve ( Occitan : Sant Bausèli de la Seuva ) is a town in the south of France and a municipality with 812 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Gignac . The inhabitants are called Saint-Bauzillois .

Saint-Bauzille-de-la-Sylve is located about 40 kilometers northeast of Béziers and about 26 kilometers west-northwest of Montpellier . Saint-Bauzille-de-la-Sylve is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gignac in the north, Aumelas in the east and south-east, Vendémian in the south, Le Pouget in the west and south-west and Popian in the west and north-west.
