Le Bosc ( Occitan : Lo Bòsc ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 1,345 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Lodève . The inhabitants are called Boscois .

Le Bosc is located about 41 kilometers west-northwest of Montpellier in the Clairette du Languedoc wine-growing region . Le Bosc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Privat and Usclas-du-Bosc in the north, Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière in the east, Saint-Guiraud and Ceyras in the southeast, Lacoste in the south and southeast, Clermont-l'Hérault and Celles in the south, Le Puech in the west and south-west, Lodève in the west and Soumont in the west and north-west.

The A75 autoroute runs along the western and southern fringes of the municipality .
