Petra Fretter (born September 19, 1959 in Saarbrücken ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She has been a member of the Saarland state parliament since 2016 .

education and profession

After elementary school, Fretter attended the secondary school Am Ludwigsberg in Saarbrücken from 1970 to 1976 and then completed training as a doctor's assistant and MTA . From 1980 she worked as a medical-technical laboratory assistant at the Marienhaus Klinikum Saarlouis-Dillingen.

Political functions

In 1994 Fretter joined the CDU. There she is chairwoman of the local association Karlsbrunn (since 2003) and of the community association Grossrosseln (since 2010).

She has been a member of the Karlsbrunn local council since 1999. From 1999 to 2003 she was the deputy mayor, and since 2003 she has been the mayor of Karlsbrunn. She has also been a member of Großrosseln's municipal council since 2011 .

For the resigned MP Uwe Conradt, Fretter moved up to the state parliament of Saarland in 2016. She was signed on May 18, 2016.
