Jaime Reyes Salazar , also known by the nickname El Medico , is a retired Mexican football player in the position of defender .
career
Reyes was under contract throughout his career as a professional player at Club Universidad de Guadalajara and completed more than 300 league appearances in the Mexican Primera División between 1975 and 1989 for the Leones Negros . In the 1975/76 and 1976/77 seasons he was runner-up twice in a row with the Leones Negros and in 1978 he won the North Zone of the CONCACAF Champions Cup with the team .
