Ferrals-les-Montagnes ( Occitan : Ferrals de las Montanhas ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 170 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Saint-Pons-de-Thomières (until 2015: canton of Olonzac ). The inhabitants are called Ferralais .

Ferrals-les-Montagnes is located in the Minervois countryside about 30 kilometers northeast of Carcassonne . Ferrals-les-Montagnes is surrounded by the neighboring communities Labastide-Rouairoux in the north and northeast, Verreries-de-Moussans in the east and northeast, Boisset in the east and southeast, La Livinière in the south, Cassagnoles in the west and southwest and Lacabarède in the northwest. The municipality is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park .
