Cazedarnes ( Occitan : Casa d'Arnas ) is a French commune with 601 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Saint-Pons-de-Thomières (until 2015: canton of Saint-Chinian ). The inhabitants are called Cazedarnais .
geography
Cazedarnes is located about 17 kilometers northwest of Béziers in the southernmost foothills of the Massif Central . Cazedarnes is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Cessenon-sur-Orb in the north and east, Cazouls-lès-Béziers in the south-east, Puisserguier in the south, Cébazan in the south-west, Pierrerue in the west and Prades-sur-Vernazobre in the north-west.
