Camplong is a commune in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region of France . It has 234 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), who are called "Camplonnais" . Camplong belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Clermont-l'Hérault (until 2015: canton of Bédarieux ).

Camplong is located about 37 kilometers north-northwest of the city center of Béziers . Camplong is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Avène in the north, Le Bousquet-d'Orb in the northeast, La Tour-sur-Orb in the south and east, Saint-Étienne-Estréchoux in the southwest and Graissessac in the west.
