Corneilhan ( Occitan : Cornelhan ) is a French commune in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It has 1,717 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) who are called "Corneilhanais" . Corneilhan belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Béziers-2 (until 2015: canton of Béziers-3 ).

Corneilhan is six kilometers north-northwest of the city center of Béziers . Corneilhan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pailhès in the north, Puimisson in the northeast, Lieuran-lès-Béziers in the east, Béziers in the south, Lignan-sur-Orb in the west and southwest and Thézan-lès-Béziers in the west and northwest.
