Mons , also Mons-la-Trivalle , is a municipality with 584 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region in southern France . It lies between Montpellier (117 km east) and Narbonne (75 km south).
geography
Mons is located in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park . At the community the Jaur flows into the Orb . It is about 50 km to Béziers , the seat of the sub-prefecture , to the southeast .
