Michael James Vogel (born July 17, 1979 in Abington , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .

Life

Vogel was born in Abington, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Warminster, Pennsylvania, where he attended the local William Tennent High School . In the early 2000s, he made frequent trips to New York City to audition for roles and model for Levi's .

Vogel began his acting career in 2001 on the television series No Mercy for Dad and has since appeared in films such as Michael Bay's Texas Chainsaw Massacre , One for 4 and Poseidon . From June 2013 to September 2015 he played the role of Dale "Barbie" Barbara in the science fiction series Under the Dome , which is based on the original novel of the same name by Stephen King The Arena .

Vogel is married and has two daughters and a son. He has two younger siblings.
