The BetVictor Snooker Shoot-Out 2019 was a snooker tournament of the Main Tour of the 2018/19 season , which took place from February 21 to 24, 2019. As in the two previous years, the professional tournament with the special rules took place in the Watford Coloseum in Watford, northwest of London.
The defending champion was the Englishman Michael Georgiou , who started for Cyprus, but lost to the Chinese Li Hang in the second round .

Shoot-out snooker is played according to special rules , a game lasts a maximum of 10 minutes, with each player having 15 seconds in the first half and 10 seconds in the second half to take a shot.
The first round games were announced on January 18th. In contrast to most snooker tournaments , each round is drawn anew in the snooker shoot-out.
A total of 105 professionals and 23 amateurs took part in the tournament. Eight starting places were awarded to the following wildcards :
The first round games took place on Thursday and Friday in four sessions. Both participating women ( Emma Parker and Reanne Evans ) lost in the first round.

2nd round
The 2nd round took place on Saturday in two sessions.
Four breaks over 100 points were played, more than since the first tournament in 2011. In addition, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh scored the highest century break ever played in the shoot-outs in the semi-finals.
