Mike Dunn (born November 20, 1971 in Middlesbrough ) is a retired English snooker player .

Career

Dunn was a professional from 1991. In 2001 he made the first qualification for a ranking tournament, namely the Thailand Masters . His greatest success on the Snooker Main Tour was reaching the semi-finals at the China Open 2014, the round of 16 at the Malta Cup in 2005 and the Bahrain Championship in 2008 as well as qualifying for the Snooker World Championship in 2002 , although he was only 72nd at the time and thus third Had to face qualifying matches.

At the first cut-off point of the 2010/11 season , it made it into the top 32 of the snooker world rankings for the first time , but fell back a little with the next update.

In qualifying for the German Masters 2012 , he achieved the 79th official maximum break in snooker history in round one against Kurt Maflin .

In 2020 he announced the end of his career.
