Ceratomia is a genus within the butterfly family of the swarmers (Sphingidae).
features
The group is very heterogeneous in its characteristics. The moths of all kinds contribute to the forewings very confusing pattern and have similarities in the characteristics of the genitals . However, the caterpillars differ greatly, which is why the genus would probably be divided into several separate genera.
Occurrence
All species of the genus occur in North America .
