The Kaspersky Riga Masters 2018 was a snooker tournament of the main tour - season 2018/19 , which was held from July 27 to 29, 2018 in the Arena Riga in Latvia . It was the third edition of the Riga Masters in this format and the fifth tournament in a row in the Latvian capital . Defending champion Ryan Day was eliminated in the first main round against Ali Carter .
Except for Mark Williams , none of the top 5 players had signed up for the tournament.
The winner was Neil Robertson , who defeated Jack Lisowski 5-2 in the final.
Prize money
The prize money increased compared to the last Riga Masters from 227,000 to 259,000 euros, the prize money of 50,000 euros remained the same. The additional money went to the losers of the first two main rounds, who received 500 and 1000 euros more.

Final round
The games in the final round were played in best-of-7 mode up to and including the quarter-finals. The semi-finals and finals were decided over a maximum of nine frames.

qualification
The qualifying round was from 2 to 5 July 2018 in the Guildhall in the English city of Preston played. The games of defending champion Ryan Day (game 32) and those of world champion Mark Williams (game 59) as well as two wildcard matches (game 28 and 50) were played in Riga at the start of the main tournament. All games were played in best-of-7 mode.
