The Kaspersky Lab Riga Masters 2016 was a snooker tournament as part of the Snooker Main Tour in the 2016/17 season , which was held from June 22nd to 24th in the Arena Riga in Latvia . It was the successor to the Riga Open, which had previously been held twice in the same location . The defending champion Barry Hawkins did not take part in the tournament.

The winner was the world number five Neil Robertson , who defeated Michael Holt 5: 2 in the final.

Prize money

Compared to the last Riga Open, the prize money increased from 125,000 to around 200,000 euros, with the winner doubling to 50,000 euros.
