Brendan Moore

Brendan Moore (born February 17, 1972 in Sheffield ) is an English professional referee of the snooker billiards variant .

Life

Brendan Moore worked as a bus driver and is an active snooker player himself with a highest break of 63 ("reached once and never got close again"). He obtained his referee license in 2002 and the first professional game he directed was an encounter between David Roe and Patrick Wallace in 2005 . He directed u. a. the finals of the World Snooker Championships 2014 and 2018 . For the games with maximum breaks he directed , the figures (January 2020) differ between six and eight.

His hobbies are playing poker with fellow referees, playing snooker, listening to music and spending time with the family. He's a fan of American football, especially the Miami Dolphins . He has two ball markers, a £ 5 coin and a ballpoint pen in his pocket when he is a referee .
