The 1986/87 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments that were part of the Snooker Main Tour . It began in May 1986 with the qualifiers and ended in June 1987 with the Pontins Professional 1987. During the season there were 216 active players.
Tournaments
Three qualifying tournaments, seven national championships, and 21 major tournaments were played during the season. So a total of 31 tournaments were played.
