The 1987 Benson & Hedges Masters was an invitation-only snooker tournament of the 1986/87 season that was held from January 25 to February 1, 1987 at the Wembley Conference Center in London . It was the 13th edition of the Masters.

The Northern Irishman Dennis Taylor defeated defending champion Cliff Thorburn in the semifinals and finally won the tournament with a 9: 8 final win over his compatriot Alex Higgins . It was Taylor's first tournament win at the Masters.
