The Masters 2011 was a snooker tournament that took place in London from January 9th to 16th, 2011 .

Prize money

The prize money for the 2011 Masters winner was £ 150,000 and the finalist £ 75,000. The highest break was paid for £ 15,000.

The other prizes were staggered as follows:
Semi-finalists: £ 30,000
Quarter-finalists: £ 20,000
Round of 16: £ 15,000

Total: £ 500,000

Final round

Unlike in previous years, there was no qualification and no wild cards for the tournament. The top 16 of the updated world rankings were invited. The last time, in 1989, only the first 16 started.
