The 2011/1 Q School was the first of three qualifying tournaments for the 2011/12 snooker season . It was held from May 11 to 16, 2011 at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield .

The 124 registered players were drawn into 4 groups. Each group played a group winner in the knockout system, who received a place on the Main Tour of the 2011/12 season and thus no longer had to compete in the second and third qualifying tournaments.
- Players who were Main Tour players in the 2010/11 season but dropped out of the world rankings and were aiming for direct re-qualification are marked with a "".
- Players who were registered for the Q School but managed to qualify for the Main Tour in another way (e.g. nomination by the national association or wildcard ) are marked with a "".
