The Players Tour Championship 2010/11 - Event 6 was a snooker tournament that took place from October 15th to 17th, 2010. It was the sixth and final tournament of the newly introduced Players Tour Championship (PTC) to be held at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield . 96 professional players and 64 amateurs had registered for the tournament.
It was won by Dominic Dale from Welsh , for whom the victory meant the third title in his third final on the Main Tour . He defeated Martin Gould 4-3 . For the Englishman, reaching the final was his best career result to date.
The 96 professional players were given a starting place in the main tournament. The 64 amateurs carried out a qualifying round on October 14 before the start of the main round in order to fill the 32 remaining starting places.
128 participants started the main tournament on October 15th. On the first day, the upper half of the seeding list played its first three rounds, on Saturday the lower half was in action. The last four rounds from the round of 16 to the final were played on the final Sunday.
