Adrian Gunnell (born August 24, 1972 in Telford ) is an English snooker player .
Career
Gunnell was a professional player from 1994. He was able to reach the round of the last 16 at various tournaments of the Snooker Main Tour , but no major successes were achieved. In 1999 he achieved his only maximum break so far during an official tournament at the Thailand Masters . In a practice game against his friend Ian Duffy, however, he managed three maximum breaks in just four frames; an achievement that no other snooker player has achieved.
Through a good 2006/07 season , Gunnell worked his way up to 36th place in the world rankings , a position he held in the following season. At the 2007 World Cup he was defeated by Michael Holt in the last qualifying round with 7:10.
