The SAGA Insurance Masters 2006 was an invitation-only snooker tournament for the 2005/06 season that was held from January 15-22 , 2006 at the Wembley Conference Center in London . It was the 32nd edition of the Masters.

Seven years after his first Masters title , John Higgins won the Masters for the second time in the final against defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan .

In the wildcard round Ian McCulloch won against Joe Perry , Steve Davis lost to Stuart Bingham .
