The 1984 Benson & Hedges Masters was an invitation-only snooker tournament of the 1983/84 season that was held from January 22 to 29, 1984 at the Wembley Conference Center in London . It was the tenth edition of the Masters. The prize money was increased from £ 55,000 to £ 115,000.

Defending champion Cliff Thorburn was eliminated in the round of 16 against John Spencer . Kirk Stevens played the third official maximum break in his semi-finals against eventual tournament winner Jimmy White . Jimmy White was finally able to defeat Terry Griffiths 9-5 in the final and thus won the £ 35,000 prize money.
