The Masters 2018 was an invitation tournament and part of the 2017/18 season of the Snooker Main Tour . It took place for the seventh time at Alexandra Palace in London from January 14-21, 2018 . The defending champion was Ronnie O'Sullivan , who was therefore number one, even though he was second in the current world rankings.

The winner was Mark Allen , who defeated Kyren Wilson 10: 7 in the final.

Tournament schedule

The 16 top players in the world rankings will play for the Masters title for eight days. The tournament was opened on Sunday, January 14th, by world number one Mark Selby . Due to the suspension of Stuart Bingham, Liang Wenbo, who was placed 17th, moved up.
