The 1977 Benson & Hedges Masters was an invitation-only snooker tournament for the 1976/77 season that was held from February 7th to 11th, 1977 at the New London Theater in London . It was the third edition of the Masters.

Defending champion Ray Reardon reached the final, as in the first two editions of the tournament. There he lost to Doug Mountjoy 6: 7. For Doug Mountjoy, who had just turned pro a few months earlier, it was the first major professional tournament.

To date, the final is the only Masters final between two Welsh players .
