The 1994/1995 snooker season included 15 professional snooker tournaments that were held between September 20, 1994 and the World Cup final on April 30, 1995. For the fourth time in a row, the Scot Stephen Hendry won the world title and with four tournament wins and two second places he defended the first place in the snooker world ranking for the fifth time , which is calculated from the placements in the nine world ranking tournaments. Another Scot, John Higgins , also had a very successful season with three titles and two other finals.
The Strachan Challenges , which began as a ranked tournament and had been downgraded twice, were discontinued after three years. As of this season, there was a second European tournament outside the British Isles, the Malta Grand Prix, alongside the Belgian European Open. At the start, local hero Tony Drago was able to advance to the final.
