The Bulgarian Open was a snooker minor ranking tournament that has been held in the Bulgarian capital Sofia since 2012 as part of the Players Tour Championship . The first year it took place at the Princess Hotel before becoming the Universiada Hall of the tournament in 2013. The tournament was sponsored by the Bulgarian insurance company Victoria , which is also the main sponsor of the local snooker association. The last edition of the tournament took place in 2015.
