The New Zealand Masters was a snooker tournament that was held three times between 1984 and 1989. The first tournament to be held during the 1984/85 snooker season . The invitation tournament was held in Auckland . In 1988 it was held as a non-ranking tournament in Wellington , and in 1989 as an invitation tournament there as well. The tournament was discontinued for the next season.
The New Zealand Masters is so far the only professional snooker tournament that has been held continuously in New Zealand.
