The Gdynia Open was a snooker minor ranking tournament as part of the Players Tour Championship . The venue was the Gdynia Sports Arena in Gdynia, Poland . In the 2012/13 season the tournament was divided into two halves, with the first part (up to and including round of the last 64) being played in the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield , England , and the remainder (from round of 32) in Gdynia took place. In 2013/14 the tournament was moved to the second half of the season and played entirely in Poland. The last title holder, since the PTC was discontinued in 2016, is the Englishman Mark Selby .
