Kacper Filipiak (born November 19, 1995 in Warsaw ) is a Polish snooker player .

Career

Filipiak qualified for the Snooker Main Tour - 2011/12 season by winning the U-21 European Championship at the age of 15 . He became the youngest player of all time to qualify for the professional tour. Filipiak is now training at the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester .

He performed well at the 2011 World Cup , where he won his duels against top players such as John Higgins , Stephen Maguire and Marco Fu .

In 2014 he made it into the final of the Polish Championship for the first time , defeating Michał Zieliński 7-2. A year later he became Polish U-21 champions with a 5-4 victory in the final against Mateusz Baranowski .

After he became Polish champion again in January 2019 against Paweł Rogoza, he reached the final of the European Championships , which he won 5-4 against the Englishman David Lilley . This qualified him for the Main Tour seasons 2019/20 and 2020/21 .
