The ground monument is located southeast of the village in the lowland on the Muhre . Finds show that the small castle complex existed in the Old Slavic period from the 8th to 9th centuries. It was built on a natural sand island in the middle of the Muhrelauf. It was like being on a kind of island and was naturally protected.
