Enlisted is a short-lived American comedy series that appeared on Fox in 2014 . The German-language first broadcast took place in 2020 on the pay TV channel ProSieben Fun . The series is about three brothers and a group of outsiders on a small military base in Florida .

Sergeant Pete Hill, who was about to make a great military career, makes a serious mistake in Afghanistan that results in his being transferred to Fort McGee , a military base in Florida. On this basis, Pete takes on the leadership of a group to which his two younger brothers Derrick and Randy belong. The rest of the group are outsiders who are not good enough for a foreign assignment and look after the base as a reserve unit. Your job is to take care of the families of the soldiers who are on duty. Besides Pete, there is only one other capable soldier in the unit, Sergeant Jillian Perez, who leads the second platoon and competes with Pete. In doing so, they often come into conflict with their superior, war veteran Sergeant Major Donald Cody.

Production and broadcast
The pilot episode of the series was commissioned by Fox in January 2013 . A month later it was announced that Geoff Stults would be playing a leading role. Previously already Keith David been committed. In May 2013, the broadcaster ordered the series at its annual upfronts in the form of 13 episodes. November 8, 2013 was given as the start date of the series. The series started after postponement on January 10, 2014.
The German-language first broadcast of the series took place from March 25 to June 17, 2020 on the pay TV channel ProSieben Fun .
