ProSieben Fun (own notation: ProSieben Fun ) is a German pay-TV channel of the ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, which went on air on May 3, 2012 found.
The station is broadcast as a simulcast and can be received via Telekom Entertain and Vodafone Kabel Deutschland (also only in HD), Unitymedia and UPC Switzerland (also only in HD).
The station could also be received via satellite via Sky Deutschland until July 1, 2016 , but the ProSiebenSat1 Group announced on May 18, 2016 that it would cease broadcasting the station via the Sky platform on June 30, 2016. The reason is "different strategic orientations" between ProSiebenSat1 and Sky. It was therefore decided to end the broadcast at the end of the agreed contract period.
program
The program is aimed at the target group of 14 to 39 year olds. ProSieben Fun broadcasts repetitions of ProSieben and Sat.1 shows, but also first broadcasts (including Family Guy , Happy! And Vikings ), current films and series, fun sports and music events.
Action sports are an important pillar of the station. The most important action sports event in the world, the X Games, has been broadcast live by ProSieben FUN since 2013 . The station has been showing the complete X Games World Tour (Winter X Games Aspen, Winter X Games Tignes, X Games Foz do Iguaçu, X Games Barcelona, X Games Munich, X Games LA) as well as the X Games Aspen 2014 and X Games since 2013 Austin 2014. The X Games Munich was broadcast on site, the other programs are broadcast from the ProSieben FUN studio in Unterföhring. The X Games 2013 were moderated and commented on by Guido Heuber and a corresponding sports expert at his side (exception X Games Munich: moderation Daniel Boschmann, comment: Guido Heuber + expert). Since 2014 there is another host moderator with Nico Zacek. Fabian Schwarz has been working as an additional moderator since 2016. Previously, he held the position of sidekick. Other sports formats of the station: TTR World Snowboard Tour (2012/2013 season), Red Bull X-Fighters (since 2013), FISE (since 2014), Bowl-a-rama (since 2014), Dew Tour (since 2014), SLS (since 2015). In addition, the station has been broadcasting the final days of some surfing events live since 2014 (Australian Open of Surfing, February, US Open of Surfing, August).
ProSieben FUN has been the home of the NXT wrestling format since April 2014 . In July 2014, ProSieben FUN reported exclusively from Munich MASH - the follow-up event to the X Games - live from the Olympic Park.
