Super Stars is a one-hour wrestling show the WWE , consisting of the roster of Raw and Smackdown . From 2014 to 2016 it was broadcast weekly on the in-house and paid video streaming service WWE Network .
history
On December 19, 2008, WWE and WGN America announced that they would be introducing a new weekly, one-hour prime time show called WWE Superstars, scheduled to debut in April 2009. The premiere was on 16 April 2009. In the show, which came Wrestling - actors on all WWE brands, so Raw , Smackdown and ECW .
On March 17, 2011, WGN America announced that they would no longer broadcast WWE Superstars. The last episode aired on April 7, 2011. From April 14 through April 22, 2011 and from October 6, 2011 through September 13, 2012, the show aired on the WWE official website, WWE.com. However, the show will continue to be produced for international radio.
Past episodes of WWE Superstars, SmackDown, and ECW are available on the Hulu Plus video streaming service . WWE Superstars has been broadcast since its introduction on February 24, 2014 on the in-house and paid video streaming service WWE Network .
The theme song by WWE Superstars is New Day Coming by CFO $ and Todd Clark. It replaced Invincible by Adelitas Way on May 17, 2014 . WWE Superstars uses the same set that is used on the main shows Raw and SmackDown. The matches will be recorded at Raw events on Mondays and then broadcast on WWE Superstars on Thursday.
After August 29, 2011, all WWE programs have been declared "Supershows," allowing the entire WWE roster to appear at any show.
