history
Velocity was always aired Saturday night on Spike TV in the United States and on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom. The 45-minute show featured fights between the wrestling stars from SmackDown and some interviews. The show was always recorded before SmackDown, but aired a day later.
In 2005 Spike TV ended the collaboration. While maintaining the concept, the show was then webcast to viewers on Saturdays via WWE.com and was available for a week. The last show aired on June 10, 2006, after which another weekly program started with ECW , which was also produced before SmackDown.
