Accidentally on Purpose (Original title: Accidentally on Purpose ) is an American sitcom with Jenna Elfman in the lead role, developed by Claudia Lonow. It premiered on September 21, 2009 on CBS television , with nearly 9 million US viewers watching the pilot.

The series is about the not very young film critic Billie from San Francisco, who becomes pregnant after a brief affair with the much younger chef Zack.
