Christin Marquitan (born September 5, 1967 in Hamburg ) is a German actress , opera singer and voice actress .

Life

education

She grew up in Schleswig-Holstein with her parents and her two younger siblings. Its French name is of Huguenot origin. Christin Marquitan completed her acting training at the stage studio Hedi Höpfner in Hamburg and with Elisabeth Bergner in London. At the age of 19, she passed the state drama exam before the joint examination committee at the Hamburg State Opera (chair: Ida Ehre ), started her first theater engagement at the Lübeck City Theater and at the same time began her classical singing training ( solo opera , concert , lied ) at the State University for music in Munich with Brigitte Fassbaender . At the age of 25 she was trained as a lyric soprano. During her 5-year vocal studies she was engaged as a permanent member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater in Vienna and thus commuted between Vienna and Munich for years. She studied dance and musical (classical ballet and jazz) with Jimmy James in Munich and with the Charleston Marquis in Vienna.

Several years of stage engagements followed in Vienna (Burgtheater), Rome (Philharmonie), Cologne, Berlin, Munich, Lübeck, Linz, Heilbronn, Stuttgart and Saarbrücken.
