Virginia Madsen
Virginia Madsen (born September 11, 1961 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress .
life and career
After graduating from high school , Madsen attended the Ted Liss Studio for Performing Arts in Chicago and the Harand Camp Adult Theater Seminar in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin . Her older brother Michael and his son Christian are also actors.
In the mid-1980s, when she was an actress committed to the role of seductress, her breakthrough failed. After guest roles in series like CSI: Miami , she made a comeback in Sideways . For her performance in the melancholy comedy , she received nominations for both an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award . For her role in Candyman's Fluch she received a Saturn Award in the category Best Actress in 1993 .

From 1989 to 1992 Madsen was married to actor and director Danny Huston . She has a son with the actor Antonio Sabato junior .
