action
Snow White's mother Josephine died giving birth to her child. Her father John is crying, his tears free a spirit that has been cursed. This presents the man with a kingdom and with the new wife, Elspeth.
Elspeth is jealous that it is not she but Snow White who is the most beautiful woman in the country. She tries to kill her stepdaughter.
Reviews
Anthony Clarke wrote on www.dvdfuture.com that in several scenes the backdrops look like an amateur performance in a school theater. Only Miranda Richardson seems to really care about her role.
Barrie Maxwell wrote on www.dvdverdict.com that the film was interesting and had a certain charm. Kristin Kreuk in the role of Snow White disappoints, however; she is beautiful but does not have enough personality. The dialogues seem out of place.
Remarks
The film was shot in Vancouver .
