Monica Bellucci
Monica Anna Maria Bellucci [ 'mɔnika' aˑna ma'ria be'luˑt͡ʃi ] (born September 30, 1964 in Città di Castello , Umbria ) is an Italian film actress and a model .
Life
Bellucci earned her living as a model while studying law at the University of Perugia . In 1988 she went to Milan , where she signed a contract with the Elite agency and promoted Dolce & Gabbana, among others .
In 1990 she started her film career. Her first appearance in an American film was in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). With the role in the French thriller Lügen der Liebe (1996) she was nominated to star and also for the French film award César .
Monica Bellucci was awarded the Nastro d'Argento in 2003 in the Best Supporting Actress category. She received the award for her role as Alessia in the film Ricordati di me .
At the age of 50 years, she played the role of Lucia Sciarra in James Bond 007: Specter (2015), making it the oldest so far Actress of Bond Girls .
In 2017 she was selected to host the opening ceremony and the final award gala of the 70th Cannes International Film Festival , after she had already awarded the Palme d'Or in 2006 as a member of the jury . In the same year she was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars annually.
She was married to Vincent Cassel , her film partner in Lies of Love , Doberman Pinscher , Pact of the Wolves , Irreversible and Agents Secrets - In the Crosshairs of Death since 1999. In the summer of 2013, she announced the separation from him. They have two daughters together, Deva and Leonie, who were born in Rome on September 12, 2004 and May 21, 2010 . In March 2010, Bellucci posed - six months pregnant - on the cover of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair magazine .
After living with Cassel mainly in Rio de Janeiro, she settled with her daughters in Lisbon, where she bought a house near the Castelo at the end of 2016 .
