List of TV channels |
ProSieben Austria is the Austria version of the German private broadcaster ProSieben . The station can be received via all Austrian cable networks ( DVB-C ) as well as via a digital satellite receiver ( DVB-S ). With certain content, the ProSieben program is overlaid with Austrian program content.
In addition to Austrian breakfast television , ProSieben Austria offers Austrian news, society, talk and weather programs. With the ProSieben Austria Text, a completely independent teletext is also offered, which is only rarely updated.
The Austrian version of ProSieben also broadcasts films and series in Dolby Digital multi-channel sound and offers an Austrian Electronic Program Guide , or EPG for short. In addition, the German advertising windows will be replaced by Austrian advertising. Since November 2008, the Austria window has also been broadcast in 16: 9 format.
The ProSieben.at website offers extensive information on entertainment, lifestyle, cinema, music and games.
The high-resolution simulcast version ProSieben Austria HD has been available in the "HD Austria" package of the HD Austria payment platform since September 2011 .

criticism
Since the transitions do not only affect the advertising window, the original German program can no longer be received at times and consumers have to switch to satellite reception. This has resulted in a large number of complaints from cable customers in Austria . Other customers, however, complained that content like taff and Galileo had too much Germany in focus for an Austrian version of the station .
