Johanna Setzer (born October 29, 1979 in Vienna ) is an Austrian television presenter .

Life

After graduating from high school with a focus on drawing and design and doing a thesis in psychology, Setzer studied journalism and education at the University of Vienna , worked, among other things, as a backstage guide for ORF , as a presenter at the shopping radio "Radio Max" and as an editor and producer at Red Entertainment on behalf of ATV + . Since 2004 she has been a breakfast TV presenter in Austria. She had a decisive influence on the first eight years of Café Puls breakfast television from ProSieben Austria , Sat.1 Austria and Puls 4 .

In addition, she was also used for the TV broadcast of the Life Ball 2008, moderated the program “Mach mir den Request - Last Chance für Heiratsgruffel” and appeared in other TV shows such as the country duel between Germany and Austria on Sat. 1 on. Since August 2011, Setzer has been hosting the main evening show "Millionär sucht Frau" from Puls 4 in addition to breakfast television.

Setzer also leads through events such as for the Rewe Group, the Ministry of Health and Economics or the Austrian Sports Aid and has in the past also appeared as a laudator at the Amadeus Austrian Music Award or the Romy Awards .

In 2011 she was named Austria's best talk show host by the media magazine Extradienst . In 2018 she was nominated for a Romy for the sixth time .

Private

Setzer lives in Vienna. In her free time she does kickboxing. She has supported the breast cancer aid campaign www.pinkribbon.at for years and is also its ambassador.
