Bianca Schwarzjirg

Bianca Schwarzjirg (born September 23, 1980 in Vienna ) is an Austrian television presenter and speaker. She is the older sister of Sasa Schwarzjirg and lives in Vienna and Bad Gastein .

life and career

Schwarzjirg was born as the daughter of an Austrian entrepreneur and a Croatian-Italian psychotherapist. She grew up in Tullnerbach in Lower Austria. In her youth she was a track and field athlete at SV Schwechat. During her school and university days, she spent several semesters abroad. After graduating from the Sacré Coeur Pressbaum in 2000 , she studied journalism and psychology at the University of Vienna .

Schwarzjirg started her career at the weekly children's program jollyboxx.tv at Super RTL , hosted for 10 years at the radio station Kronehit and later also worked for the Vienna city stations W24 before as a presenter at Sat.1 Austria with the program Connect It and Consol TV began . Since 2008 she has been part of the team of moderators for the Café Puls breakfast television from ProSieben Austria , Sat.1 Austria and Puls 4 . Together with Florian Danner she forms the anchor team, the two moderate the morning magazine 3 weeks a month. She is considered the broadcaster's all-round face and moderated the weekly Internet magazine PULS 4 Google Trends , the “Stadtreport”, the society magazine “Pink” and “Topmodel Backstage”. In the 6th and 7th season, Bianca was a member of the jury for Austria's Next Topmodel .

Bianca Schwarzjirg moderated the Amadeus Award 2012, led the LIVE finals of Austria's Next Topmodel and acted as a moderator for Johannes B. Kerner in the main evening program “Germany against Austria”. On February 29th, she hosted the Oscar special program Frame of Cafe Puls.

In January 2020 she moderated the Puls 4 Family Night Race together with Rainer Schönfelder , in which ski families competed against each other.

With almost 30k fans on Instagram and 28k followers on Facebook, she is one of the Austrian TV presenters with the highest social media reach.

Private

Bianca Schwarzjirg is engaged to ex-professional triathlete Michael Szymoniuk . Their first daughter was born in December 2018. The two live together near Vienna.

Others

She has been a Pink Ribbon Ambassador since 2012 and supports the Austrian Cancer Aid . As part of this, she has already organized the Pink Run in Bad Gastein twice (2018 and 2019), where donations are collected for the Austrian Cancer Aid. She also advertised Palmers and Coca-Cola as well as Mercedes Wiesenthal , Jones , Pandora and Jaguar Land Rover . She is currently promoting the Mitsubishi car brand . Schwarzjirg graced more than 30 covers of Austrian magazines and newspapers, she became the title girl on the first Austrian Playboy, published in March 2012.

From 2012 to 2018 she moderated the Winter- und Sommer.frische in Bad Gastein, to which young creative people from art, culture and media were invited.
